Day Camp

What is Day Camp?
Day camp is a five day, packed-with-fun daytime program, with campers dropped off in the mornings and picked up in the late afternoons. At day camp, campers will participate in Shady Creek’s activities in groups with others campers in their age bracket. Each group will be led by a staff member.

$180 per camper

Monday, June 29– Friday, July 3
Campers: 1st – 8th grade*
Volunteer Leaders: 9th – 12th grade

* grade camper will be entering in the fall

Drop off and pick up info:

Day camp drop off is from 8:00 – 8:30 AM and pick up from 4:30 – 5:00 PM. AM (extended to 9:00 AM on the first day to account for extra time during registration) Campers will bring their own lunch and afternoon snack.

Extended hours:

We offer extended hours for an extra $50 fee. Drop off campers as early as 7:30 AM and pick up as late as 5:30 PM. Extended hours can be purchased during online registration or paid for in person on the first day of camp.

Typical day of Day Camp:

7:30 – 8:00       extended hours drop off
8:00 – 8:30       camper drop off
8:30– 8:45         camp news and the Morning Report
8:45 – 11:30      morning activities
11:30 – 12:00   lunch
12:00 – 3:00      afternoon activities, including swimming and rest time
3:00 – 3:15       snack
3:15 – 4:30       camper-choice recreation activities
4:30 – 5:00       camper pick up
5:00 – 5:30       extended hours pick up

Volunteer Leaders

Interested in serving as a role model to campers and attending day camp for free? We are recruiting volunteer high school leaders to work alongside staff. Leaders will get to participate in all camp activities, and gain experience working with children in an outdoor setting. This is a GREAT opportunity for high schoolers interested in gaining experience working with kids, or working in an outdoor recreational setting.  Click here for application.
