FROM THE YUBA-SUTTER AREA
– From Marysville, take Highway 20 east toward Grass Valley.
– Turn left onto 20/49 East towards Nevada City.
– As you leave Nevada City, Turn left to continue on Hwy 49 towards Downieville.
– In approximately 10 ½ miles turn right on Tyler Foote Rd. Watch for the sign to Malakoff Diggins’ State Park.
– In one mile turn right on Pathfinder Way. Pathfinder Way will bring you into Shady Creek.
FROM THE NORTH
– From I-5 take Highway 99 south through Chico.
– Merge onto Highway 149 east to Oroville.
– Take Highway 70 south towards Marysville.
– Take the Oro-Dam Blvd. exit and turn left into Oroville.
– Turn right on Olive Highway/CA 162.
– Turn right onto Miners Ranch Road.
– Turn left onto Oroville Bangor Hwy. This road becomes Los Verjeles Rd.
– Turn left on Loma Rica Rd.
– Turn left onto Marysville Rd.
– Turn right to stay on Marysville Rd./CR-E20.
– Turn right onto CA-49,
– Turn left on Tyler Foote Rd. Watch for the sign to Malakoff Diggins’ State Park.
– In one mile turn right on Pathfinder Way. Pathfinder Way will bring you into Shady Creek.
FROM THE EAST
– Take I-80 out of Reno.
– Take Highway 20 to Nevada City/Grass Valley.
– Turn right onto Hwy49 towards Downieville.
– In approximately 10 ½ miles turn right on Tyler Foote Rd. Watch for the sign to Malakoff Diggins’ State Park.
– In one mile turn right on Pathfinder Way. Pathfinder Way will bring you into Shady Creek.
FROM SACRAMENTO
– Take I-80 east towards Reno.
– Exit left onto CA-49 in Auburn.
– As you leave Nevada City, Turn left to continue on Hwy 49 towards Downieville.
– In approximately 10 ½ miles turn right on Tyler Foote Rd. Watch for the sign to Malakoff Diggins’ State Park.
– In one mile turn right on Pathfinder Way. Pathfinder Way will bring you into Shady Creek.
