WHO: Shady Creek Outdoor Education Program is operated by the Sutter County Superintendent of Schools for 5th and 6th grade students in northern California.
 
WHERE: The program owns a facility called Shady Creek located just 11 miles outside of Nevada City, California.
 
WHEN: Position is anticipated to start in September and end in June. We offer 25- 30 weeks of program with a winter break.
 
WHAT: The position provides practical educational experience in a well established environmental education program. Naturalists teach groups of students hands-on environmental science lessons on trail, lead evening programs, run measl, and participate in professional development sessions among oher duties. Indivuals applying for this position should be have a passion for having fun in the outdoors and want to share that connection with others.
