Earth Science comes to life at Shady Creek Outdoor School. Here students
study plate tectonics and other earth processes in a hands-on
environment. Through a series of experiments, students have the
opportunity to explore the earth from the core to the crust and
everything in between. After a thorough examination of the earth's
processes, students then have the opportunity to study the rocks and
minerals that result. Each class finishes with an opportunity to search
for and identify the rocks of Shady Creek. |
